Miami Dolphins at Dallas Cowboys
Dallas is a 7 point favorite and for good reason. In the past few weeks Romo has put up great numbers. The passing game is flourishing and the running game has been steady. The combo of Felix Jones and DeMarco Murray is developing into one of the best running back combos in the league. Watch for them to keep the pass-rushing Miami d-line at bay. This will allow Tony Romo the time he needs in the pocket. I predict another high scoring performance from the Dallas Cowboys offense.
Miami’s defense has been fairly solid all year, but they do tend to give up a lot of points. Their offense has looked fantastic in the past three weeks. Matt Moore has stepped up; the Miami fans don’t even remember who Chad Henne is! Their offense has figured out how to utilize Reggie Bush and how to score points.
These new and improved Miami Dolphins may have you confused as to why they are +7 underdogs. But, don’t get crazy and start throwing money around! Dallas is at home in front of a fired up, turkey filled crowd. Dallas has won on thanksgiving 4 out the past 5 years. But the only stat you have to look at is the pass defense. The Cowboy’s passing defense is ranked 13th in the league, Miami’s pass defense is ranked 25th. That ultimately tells you what to do.
Prediction: Take the OVER 44 point spread. The Dallas Cowboys will WIN in a high scoring affair. However, beware of the -7 point spread. I would take Dallas on a teaser in a heartbeat. Dallas Will win, but only by one touchdown. If the spread drops to -6.5 or lower, I’ll be throwing money down on the Cowboys!
