Rams at Lions- September 9, 2012
At first glance, this seems like an easy pick. But, these are not the Rams of last season. This is a new team with a much better coach. Detroit is riding high after making the playoffs for the first time in about 200 years. They can’t let all this success get to them. They are the better team, there is no doubt about it. But the Rams will improve from 2011 and like they shocked New Orleans last year, if the Lions aren’t careful there could be a repeat performance.
I think this game will be much closer than people think. The Lions will win, but I think the Rams could keep it tight and ruin a lot of people taking the Lions at -9.5. Take Rams with the spread or Lions on the teaser. Also, take the over. This will be an offensive game.
